Mike Annello

Assistant Branch Manager

Mike has been with Vellano Bros. since 1987. He has served as Yard Foreman, Counter Salesman, Inside Municipal Salesman, and now in Contractor Sales. In addition, he functions as Latham Operations Manager, in charge of counter and delivery operations.

Bill Hopper

Branch Manager / Vice President of Marketing

After graduating in 1970 from Union College with a degree in Civil Engineering Bill worked for Vellano Bros. from 1971-1974 before working for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. for five years in Loss Control. He returned to Vellano Bros. in 1980, becoming Branch Manager in 1985 and V.P. of Marketing in 1990.

Tom O'Hare

Contractor Sales Manager

Tom is a 1985 graduate of Clarkson University. He worked for four years with the New York State Department of Transportation before joining Vellano Bros. in 1989. Tom is presently Sales Manager of the Latham branch and is active in the NESCA, APWA, and Tri-County Excavating Associations.

Andrew Cowan

Contractor Sales Representative

Andrew A. Cowan is a 1993 graduate of the University of Kentucky. Before coming to Vellano Bros. Andrew worked in the plumbing industry for Wiseway Supply in Florence, KY and Security Supply in Selkirk, NY. He has been with Vellano Bros. since December of 2002.

Randi Carney

Contractor Sales Representative

Randi is a US Navy Veteran with over 15 years of sales experience. He previously worked for Sid Harvey Industries, an HVAC distributor in Albany, NY, for 12 years. Randi came to Vellano Bros. in 2003 to work Inside and Outside Contractor Sales.

Scott Klopfer

Contractor Sales Representative

After earning his B. S. in Chemistry from Fredonia State, Scott was hired in May 1997 by Trenchless Technology Consultants (a member of the Vellano Group of Companies). He moved to Vellano Bros. Wappingers Falls Office in September 1998 to work in Contractor Sales. Scott returned to the Latham branch in 2005 to work Inside and Outside Sales. He is responsible for coordinating trade shows for the company.

James Stanton

Master Meter Sales Engineer- New York State

James started with Vellano Bros. in December of 2005. A Chemical Engineer from Georgia Tech, James spent 25 years at Schenectady International, Inc. working with coatings and resins used as rubber and plastics additives. He then worked for 3 years as Area Engineer at Hancor, Inc. providing engineering and sales support for storm water pipe and drainage systems.

Gary Nielsen

Municipal Sales Manager

Gary started with Vellano Bros. in 1980 as the Municipal Van Salesman. He became Municipal Sales Manager in 2002 and Assistant Branch Manager in 2004. Gary graduated from the University at Albany in 1972 and previously worked for Rexford Supply and Daigle Aqua in water and sewer sales.

Rick Catuccio

Municipal Sales Representative

Rick began with Vellano Bros. in 1985 as a tractor trailer driver. In 2002 he was promoted to Latham Municipal Van Salesman. He covers Northern New York from Watertown to Binghamton and Plattsburg to Saugerties.
